AFS on boot up?

Hi. I was wondering if there is any way to boot my linux machine directly into an afs space.

Well, here in my college all the Linux machines start up directly into the afs space so whenever I login my home folder is the afs space i have assigned. So I would like to be able to do that from my personal computer.

Does anybody know how to do this?
