ADSL, my Web Site, and my Sparc Station

Okay heres the situation:

I have a Sparc Station 5 with Solaris 8 and an ADSL connection. I host a website on the Sparc Station. My IP address changes everytime I connect to the Internet. I know that windows has a program called dns2go that fixes this problem. dns2go takes all requests to the registered web address, looks up your current ip address, then goes to your computer. Is there a similar program for Solaris 8 on a Sparc station? I read a comment online saying to use a perl script to correct this but the comment didn't go into any detail. I have perl installed on my sparc5. Anyone know about this perl script?

:) I having dynamic ip problem before too.. but I hate dealing with it so i order static ip :).. no more ip changes... u ever think about static ip? It'll make your life a lot easier :)..

I have thought about a static ip, i'd love one. My ISP charges me 40 bucks a month for adsl which i can afford. I requested a static ip and they wanted another 80 bucks a month. If I could afford it I would. I have a personal web site that doesn't generate any revenue so I'd be dumb to pay 80 bucks a month for it.

Now I downloaded the perl script from dns2go and I edited it to run on my machine and my web site. The dns2goUpdate function will not run. Perl says it does not recognize the method. I have perl on my system and the method is defined in the perl script. Anyone have dns2go perl script running on Solaris? If so, what version of perl do you have and can I take a peek at your perl script?

Hmm.. which ADSL company you used? At bellsouth, they only charge me 45/month for dsl, plus like $15 more for static ip, which is decent. You can go look for better dsl service from different company. You may found one that provide static ip as free of charge, but it's rare, but it's possible.

I am station in Korea on a military assignment so I'm stuck with the one and only US sponsored Korean ADSL company. So can we please get over this static ip issue now?

If anyone is using solaris and dns2go, I'd appreciate a helpful comment. Thanks in advance.

Now Im using the dns2go perl script. Said I needed perl 5.6 so I installed it. Still getting the following error:
Undefined subroutine &main::DNS2GoUpdate called at ONLINE.PL line 15.
