Adobe Reader 7.0 and E-Books

I bought an E-book. I upgraded my acrobat reader from 5.0 to 7.0 so that I could read it. Now I can't seem to be able to read the E-book. I am able to read the same E-book on my windoows system with the same Acrobat version. Has anyone been able to read an E-book on Linux? If so, what program did you use to do read it?

Thanks,

Hockeyfan

Depends on what format the ebook is.
Most likely, it's PDF, which is Adobe's format.
Because I use GNOME, I use GPdf for viewing PDFs. There are many other PDF viewers for GNU/Linux, including Xpdf (which GPdf is based on), and KPDF (also based on Xpdf) for KDE.
