Adobe Acrobat Professional-like software for linux?

Yesterday one of my friends asked me about "Adobe Acrobat Professional Edition" whether there exist an equivalent freeware software on Linux or not? She uses this program on windows for preparing dynamic forms. I told to her there were programs equivalent to Adobe Photoshop (=GIMP) and Microsoft Office (Sun Open Office. But I do not about Adobe Acrobat Professional. Anyone can help?

There is no acrobat in linux.

You can make (basic) pdf-forms in scribus, if you just wanna have links and bookmarks in your document, you can use latex (hyperref package with pdflatex).
For editing pdf's you can use gimp (will convert into a picture) and pdfedit (can modify actual pdf parameters, but very basic).
That's afaik all you can do.

Acrobat may work using WINE or CrossOver. Also, there's a pretty recent thread here at LQ.
