adding new kde applets to panel
 

im kinda a linux newbie so kde has me a little puzzled

i downloaded the lastest verson a kickerpager, a better looking pager applet for the panel

./configure, make, and make intall

did all that, but when i went to add the applet to the panel (panel menu, add, applet) it was there:confused:

i have pretty much noooo idea how to fix this, my first thought was the install directory

/usr/local/kde has no other files in it besides what i just stalled so im guessing thats the wrong directory



bah...im confused...thanks for any help

responding to my open post...an rpm solved all my problems, i found and rpm installer and it works fine:D
