Adding more space to image created by dd

Hi all,

Today I created a 2 Giga disk image using this command:

dd of=hd.img bs=1024 seek=2000000 count=0

this harddisk image is used to install windows xp on my linux using qemu, but after I installed one software, I just run out of disk space. Is it possible to add more space to the image I created with dd? I've tried to search it on google got no answer.

Thanks for your help,

Cheers,

Fredy
