Adding Menu Items
 
Please help ..
how can we add menu items in the menu's that we get from the main button on the left had corener of the x windowing system in kde and gnome... I have searched a lot but the result of the search has not been fruitful... can anyone help me in adding menu items to it...

in kde, right click on the menu button, it should give an option to go to the "menu editor". there you should be able to configure the menu items (add / remove / edit)

In KDE right click on the k menu and select Menu Editor, from this program you can add, remove and alter the menu entries, including things like start directories and shortcut keys.
