Add a new hard drive to existing RH 7.2

Hi guys,
Recently I found out that my Hdd space for my RH 7.2 is not enough especially /var and /home. So I decided to add another 4.3 for this partition. But How am going to partition for a new hdd and link the /var and /home to new hdd. Last time, I saw a guy from SUN did that b4. He did it really fast. I can't remember. Any idea or website refer? Thank you guys.
