Active X

Is there a linux version of Active X? Believe it or not I have found a web site that does not support anything but Active x software.

Thanks in advance

I believe it, but they're pretty stupid. ActiveX is a MS technology that lets websites run programs on your computer. These programs can do pretty much anything. So they're both insecure and MS. In a word: no.

then all the more reason to NOT trust it. if you do any trading with active X you run the risk of someone getting your data much more so then under normal safer and much more secure code out there.
