acroread 7.0 and annoying MDI (multi-document interface)

Hi,

Has anyone found a way to turn off the multi-document interface in acroread 7.0? I really really like to have multiple windows (most importantly so that I can split them across desktops).

I know there are other pdf applications, but they all have problems sooner or later. If you want an example, see: ww.sable.mcgill.ca/publications/techreports/2004-7/sanjabi-04-algorithmic-TR.pdf (you need to add an extra 'w' at the front) which I can only get to display right in acroread (tried xpdf, gpdf, kpdf, evince).

Thanks kindly if you can help,
Else it's back to crummy old acroread 5.0,
Chris

Hope this helps someone else,
Chris
