ACPI error then gpu fan spins out of control

I am trying to install Ubuntu and what happens is that the computer says ACPI then a series of numbers, then says can not map memory that high, then my monitor turns off and my graphics card starts spinning uncontrollably and I'm forced to unplug the machine
.
I have 30 gb sdd, my system has 4 gb ram, and am using usb flash drive to install Ubuntu. The flash drive has 8 gb capacity. (couldn't even get plop boot manager to run off a cd earlier)

These are brand new motherboards, trying to install Ubuntu as their first OS.
The Ubuntu version is ubuntu-16.04-desktop-i386

Welcome to LQ!

Any particular reason going 32 bit? With 4 GB of RAM I would not even consider 32 bit.

Thank you for the welcome, Woops it was 2 gb ram, but Iirc I tried 32 bit cus I was getting the same problem with the 64 bit.

I actually got 15.04 to work, probably 64 bit for that.
