Odd. I did not make any specific change to Nagios and it specificly does say what the acknologment was in the emails with the subject containing "ACKNOWLEDGEMENT". I hope that helps.

No theres some kind of definition that goes in the command.cfg file. Looks something like this:

# 'host-notify-by-email' command definition
define command{
command_name host-notify-by-email
command_line /usr/bin/printf "%b" "***** Nagios 2.10 *****\n\nNotification Type: $NOTIFICATIONTYPE$\nHost: $HOSTNAME$\nState: $HOSTSTATE$\nAddress: $HOSTADDRESS$\nInfo: $HOSTOUTPUT$\n\nDate/Time: $LONGDATETIME$\nAcknowledge Info:\n$HOSTACKCOMMENT$\n$HOSTACKAUTHOR$" | /bin/mail -s "Host $HOSTSTATE$ alert for $HOSTNAME$!" $CONTACTEMAIL$

But this isnt working.
