You rock acid... at least I don't have to change the howto yet.. since not that much has changed for the installation part..

Hi acid, got it workin the other day with the previous version. Looks great! Thanks for such an easy to use, excellent tool. You changed me into a total Mplayer freak as well, and I've been using the command line mencoder forever. This will be a nice change of scenery for a while, and also to show others when asking for options on encoding video.

i've also just cobbled together a *very* crude bleeding edge cvs kind of thing if people want even newer code... generated hourly! see the download sectino on the main page. omg i didn't put a url in the first post!
