accessing X server from Windows

i use Remote destop connection on my Windows machine to connect to Windows Servers in my organization and PUTTY to connect to Linux Servers. But PUTTY only gives me the command prompt. How do i access the Linux Xserver from my Windows desktop? Currently, as i said, i have command line access to the Linux M/C through PUTTY. So any tips regarding configuring this thru the console wld be much more helpfull..
Thanks in Advance

some options:
* SSH's X forwarding: install and run an X server (like Cygwin/X or Xming) in Windows and use Putty to forward X
* VNC: run a VNC server on the Linux machine and use a VNC client in Windows to connect to it
* NX: install FreeNX on Linux and use an NX client in Windows to connect to it
