I live with 3 roommates and we each have our own laptops, they all have windows and I have my mac. I have a PC that i was going to run mythTv with but i decided against that for certain reasons. Instead i am just kinda want to make a sort of media PC for the main room.

I have been google-ing for a linux app that is able to connect to iTunes shares. I found Banshee, rythmbox and a few others(mostly talking about DAAP) but from what I read thats makes it possible for iTunes to pick up the Banshee library.

can anyone point me in the direction of being able to see and play iTunes shares in linux? Or maybe suggest another method that would allow me to play any of my roommates music through this PC?

(worst comes to worst i hear iTunes runs nicely in wine)
