Unhappy about modsecurity2

i´ve tried to install Modsecurity2 into Centos 4 with APXS and it was
successfull. But on starting Apache i got error with these:

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 195 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_security2.so into server:
/usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_security2.so: undefined symbol: msc_alert

What is wrong here?

Thanks

Why is your post *exactly* the same as this one from 2006? More importantly, what HOWTO or steps did you follow to install ModSecurity 2? This sounds like a possible compilation issue.

Please post the output of the make command to see if we can spot the problem there. Also, post the contents of the Makefile file you are using. Remember to use [code] tags when you post these. On a side note, I'm moving this to the Linux - Software forum, as this isn't a security question, and your issue will get more adequate exposure there.
