about installing Ati x 1200 graphic driver
 
mother board- M2A-MX
Chip-set- Ati x 1200
cpu- AMD 5600+

i am new to linux

I'm trying to run the 'ati-driver-installer-8.20.8-i386.run' program to install (----myfile:///media/SOFTWARE/OS_Soft/Linux/ati-driver-installer-9-3-x86.x86_64.run) on fedora 11.

and it is not installing it . plz help me out.
how i install it n what is the method.

No do not install that ... it is not supposed to work with fedora 11 (check that) and anyway will do no better than the open source driver radeon (for your card)

Use driver radeon

Put in a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to improve performance

By default, 3D acceleration would be working on your GPU after a straight install of Fedora 11. Installing the proprietary drivers will just screw up your system.
