Abiword no longer works

Hi,

I've been upgrading my slackware system using swaret. Everything seems to work as it should but Abiword no longer works. I got errors in relation to gtk, so I upgraded gtk to the newer version available in slackware. Abiword still won't start. When I try to start it in KDE Konsole I get the following output:

abiword: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_type_class_add_private

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?? Any help would be appreciated.

"abiword: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_type_class_add_private"

It looks like the abiword version is out of sync with the libgtk version. Two possible fixes are:
1. Install the latest version of abiword.
2. Compile abiword against your current configuration.

yep, you're right. The prob was that I also needed to upgrade to the newest version of pango, whatever that is. Thanks for the help.
