I'm looking for a way to organize and manage my quotes but found noting, neither for Linux nor Android.
I have several text files but it's very messy.
I've also considered to make a MongoDB database but I'm not sure if it's worthy to go in that. Need a GUI in this case too anyway.
So, to me the ideal would be to have an application dedicated for this purpose, organize quotes.
Do you have any suggestion?
How about a spread sheet? You could have columns for the quotation, the source, speaker, date, subject, tags, and the like--whatever you wish. They could be color-coded, sorted, searched, and manipulated in a myriad of ways.
I found s solution today but will try to use a spreadsheet is it doesn't work well.
I discovered NeighborNote which run better than NixNOte and can connect to my EverNote account (Nixnote couldn't on my machine).
Anyway, I'll use notes to keep and synchronize them for a while and see if it's satisfying.
I'm still not sure how I want to manage them.
