A question on building a cross platform VPN server

Hi! I want to setup a VPN server which will serve our Linux and Windows client. I've read in some how-tos that ppp-ssh is the easiest way to make this thing work. My problem is that Windows doesn't have SSH and so it will not work. Is there a way to setup a DHCP server alongside VPN server wherein the clients will have its IP assigned by the server without sacrifing security?
