a program to turn off the video to LCD?
 

hi
I need a program which could turn off the video to LCD monitor and turn it back on to LCD when needed.
if a shell script also can do the work that would be great.
basically i need to turn off the video between 9PM and 5 AM, anyone managed to find sth like this before?

I don't understand what you are trying to do. Why not just turn off the screen when it's not in use?

Maybe he can't. Maybe it has to be done automaticly.
