A language translator for Linux


Hi

I need a program for translation English into Italian and Italian into English like Babylon distributed for Windows, does anyone exist for Mandrake 10.2?

I wonder if the page source for the google translate page reveals anything like a PHP script that does all of the work?

It's done via a script server-side - all that is returned is the HTML which is displayed on the page.
