a good pdf view similar to acrobat?
hi,
is there a good pdf viewer for redhat 9.0 that offers similar features from adobe acrobat. the free adobe acrobat for linux in the adobe website does not really install in redhat 9.0. in short... it does not work! is there any other pdf viewer similar to acrobat? |
how about xpdf? I love it. Much lighter than acrobat reader and once u muster the keyboard ( nothing hard), its a breeze to use. Its usually in the default installation, but then i dont use RH. Try it out!

what i do not like about xpdf is that there are no navigations and i cannot view the pages smoothly (just like in acrobat's continuous page option)

I'm pretty sure Adobe Acrobat 5 is out for linux, not 6 yet.

You say that the free version from adobe didn't install. If that is version 5, then you might want to try version 4. It's available here:
