a good editor


Hi,

I'm looking for a good file editor that runs on kde and has a integraded ftp explorer so i can edit file's on a remote (web)server. Please help me because else i have to install windows to do my thing.

Why you have to move to windows?
What do you mean with remote? Do you use a local linux machine to logon remotely?


You can edit your files with kedit or kate and upload it with kbear.

Or you could use an FTP plugin for Eclipse if you use that.
I'm sure there are others.

Quanta is a great editor for web pages and content. Probably not as rock-solid as vim or emacs, but full-featured and much more user friendly.

also an editor you can get from tucows
called kpad is kde based and does ftp editing
