A compatible multiple protocol imer

Is there a compatible multiple protocol instant messenger like trillian for red hat 7.3? I have tried a few but none seem to work properly. or the make command doesn't exist. Does anyone know of a stable functioning client i can use to stay in contact with my friends in icq, man, yahoo, etc.?
