3d Graphics with linux>


I love playing around with 3d programs such as maya and lightwave...and i am also thinking of getting into linux...do they have such equivlent software such as what i ahve mentioned for linux...i know the answer is no..but thhan my question is on AMD 2100 with gigabyte MB would it be possible to put linux and windows...without overloading it...and where can i find the guide to do that...install both oS on one machine..thanks.
