Mesa 3D is an software render, so its using your cpu for 3D. Buy either ATI or NVidia video cards.

you need like a linux driver but they don't provide linux drivers
get another card like nvidia or look for a linux driver + make sure your distro is configured

my nvidia will run like your card without drivers
but with its really smooth and games like ut2003 run sweetly

Search '[url=http://google.com/linux]google.com/linux[/quote]' for the video card you have, you'll probably find a driver.
