24/7 System Internal Process monitor for server - Need Software

Hi, I read somewhere, of a 24/7 system internal process monitor, which automatically restarts downed procesess. I tried googling it, didnt get much luck.

Can somebody please provide me with a program that can do this?

Thanks,

What exactly are you meaning by "24/7 system internal monitor"?

And what goes down and why?

I mean, software that will automatically restart services when they crash.
EG, httpd crashes - and it restarts it, or proftpd goes down, and its automatically restarted

Ah, ok.

Several applications can do that but if you want only to monitor and respawn processes and daemons, you might be interested in keepalive;
