2.6.7: modules: *** [_modinst_post] Error 1


hey guys!
i'm trying to make my first kernel compilation.
Currently i'm running Mandrake 10.0 Official
I already configurated the kernel (2.6.7) and did the command
# make
it runs ok.
but when i did
# make modules
it compile a lot of modules and then...
Code:
 *** [_modinst_post] Error 1
what should I do?
