2.6.10 and 2.6.11 sound quality

on several different machines i had severa linuxes with kernel 2.6.8
then recently i tried kanotix hd-install with 2.6.10 adn today i upgraded my yopers to 2.6.11 and i noticed sound stutter
really - i have 5% of CPU ussage on my pentium 4 and nothing is beein read from hdd while i play the mp3 because i have 1.5GB of DDRram and no hdd light comes up but i notices that even with arts (with highest priority) when i play music and do something on the comp the soud stutters - it's miminal but anoying if u realy like music - it apears in variouse distros and 3 deskotps + ma laptop - different hardware so it can't be my sblive fault.
on kanotix hd-install even clicking on kde menu button caused stutter
anybody noticed the same with kernels above 2.6.9 ?
it's not so easy to hear it but when u have good hearing u may notice it and it becomes anoying
