Hey all,

I have never had this problem before with tons of 16x Ritek DVD batches. I recently got another 100 spindle of 16x RITEK/P16's and it seems as though the whole spindle is only recognized as 4x disks. My burner is 16x certified, i've burnt hundreds of dvd's at 16x with it... but when i pop these in and select "Media Info" in k3b, I get a max write speed of 4.0x. Anyways, you get the idea.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? I have dvd+rw-tools-7.0 which seems to be the latest, and I'd love to ask on their mailing list but when I try to subscribe it never responds.

I'd greatly appreciate any help, thanks!

Nero in Windows also views them as 4x also, contacted RiData, they're going to replace the spindle...
