I'm running SuSE Pro 9.1 (AMD 1.4GHz w/256MB) and the keyboard freezes at infrequent intervals. The reason I am posting here, instead of in the Distro forum is that since this machine is normally just a server and not a workstation it chugs along just fine. However, if I use aMSN for an extended period of time the keyboard freezes up! I can't even use the capslock key.
I have no proof that this is an aMSN issue, however, the freezes always occur at that point.
The only work around at this point is if I use the mouse to graphically log out of KDE. Fine and dandy, 'cause I can save any work I have open in a GUI but SUCKS if I'm working in a terminal. *grrr*.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
1. I want to use aMSN (not gaim) for my chatting.
2. I'd like to submit a bug report, but I have ZERO proof this is an aMSN issue. Without something concrete, they'll just shake their heads and keep on trucking.
3. If it's not aMSN related, maybe you guys have some suggestions about what might be going on with SuSE & KDE.
