[Newbie] Installing new codecs on mencoder binary?
Hello,
I am running MDK 10.0, and I use the mencoder binary that is provided by plf (can't compile from source, it doesn't like that). I notice that the binary only comes with a handful of codecs, and I would like to use some other codecs I see floating about -- for instance, project mayo's divx4. The binary only includes xvid and these lavc codecs, neither of which I want to use. How do I install new codecs?
