[kde on kubuntu oneiric] always switching to spiral layout

Hi!

Almost every time a new window is coming onto the screen, I get a notification telling me that KDE is switching to spiral layout. Not much of a problem other than all windows popping up taking up all screen space (though not maximized).

How the hell can I get rid of that behavior? Thanks in advance.

Are you using the tiling mode of KWin? Alt-Shift-F11 enables/disables it.

If you are deliberately using it, the configuration is controlled at System Settings > Window Behaviour > Window Behaviour > Advanced > Tiling.

If I was, it's net because I inteded to use it. I disabled it with the key combination. Will let you know how it goes later.
