Question [bind9] how set default search domain?

Hi,

How do I set the default search domain in BIND9?
With that I mean the domain that BIND should add behind the hostname it is trying to reach, if that host can't be found.

For example, if I ping the host SomePC, and the system doesn't know the IP for SomePC through e.g. the HOSTS file, it should start looking for SomePC.localdomain.net, where localdomain.net obviously is the local domain configured in BIND9.

shouldn't this be configured in the resolv.conf file ?

I've added the default search domain within my resolv.conf, and everything is working fine overhere.

Parameter I added:

search yourlocaldomain.local anotherdomaintosearch.net andanotherone.com
