*.flv play in linux


is anyone aware of a media player (or codec) that is capable of playing (or converting) FLV --> Flash Video audio in linux?

Use VLC media Player..It can play possibly all formats...You can adjust brightness,Contrast of the video without editing it..It is fantastic..It is platform independent as well which means u can switch it in windows and linux..

you could just install "download helper" for firefox.
that will automatically convert it (if you want) to avi or mp4.
