zoneedit or bind

Hi

I have been using zoneedit for past few years no issues.
I have also bind installed.

Now I have been given 2 static ip addresses and was wondering if using BIND would be more beneficial than using zoneedit? or should i stick to zonedit?

thanks

My recommendation would be stick with zoneedit for your domain dns, and not run your own dns server.

Having a static IP is not relevant to dns, dns simply matches dns names to target ip address, static or dynamic. I have a domain getting dns from zoneedit with a server on a static public IP, simply create necessary host, mx, and other dns records pointing to the static ip, using the zoneedit dns management tools. I haven't had to touch that domain or visit zoneedit site for years.
