Zimbra email server could int able to receive mail from outside network
 

Dear All,

i had configured zimbra opensource email server,,i could able to receive and send mail over internal network users,even i could able to send mail to external mail account like gmail ,yahoo but i could int able to receive mail from outside network even from yahoo,gmail,i had configured my zimbra server in dyanmic ipaddress .whether there is any possible to make zimbra mail server to work in dyanmic ipadress can someone help me out how can i solve the issue..


when i send mail from gmail it delivers the following error
"DNS Error: Domain name not found", Report abuse ... Technical details of permanent failure: DNS Error: Domain .

That sounds like you don't have any DNS records (external ones) for your domain, do you? If you're behind a NAT router have you also set-up a Split DNS? You could also search the Zimbra forums to see if there's been a similar problem covered before.

I Solved out the issue i make mx record enty in domain.for ..then and configured the mail server in registered domain...thus my issue get resolved ..thanks for fenice help me out to resolve the problem
