xm create with xmdefconfig - No permanent config files created?
Howdy cowpokes,
I'm playing around with Xen at the moment, and have a default working default xen config chaining on to a kickstart, so I can now create and fully install a machine with centos with one command.
But these machines don't persist a reboot. I would have thought that running "xm create vmname=dave" (using the sexy python vm xmdefconfig file I modified) would build the vm and save the settings to /etc/xen/dave, but it doesn't. So when the machine reboots it just reinstalls again.
I assume i'm missing something conceptual here... but what? What is the equivalent of hitting "new" on the Xen management GUI? Should it be possible to do what I want?
