That my friend is a real quest. However i do not understand why would you want to use wu-ftpd which is full of bugs and vulnerabilities and not switch to vsftpd.

Hi Andy,
you are right. It was due to a confusion that the requirement was specifically for wu-ftpd. but the requestor just needed ftp. I switched to vsftpd .
