I have an Linux server as internet server. But the video streaming does not work. Is there any setting to be done in the Linux server to allow user to stream WMV files?

When try to play the video, Windows media player will give error below :

Set the apache mime type for wmv to video/wmv-x-stream, or if all else fails, data/octet-stream.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread for this kind of problem, but I think this is the closest one I get.

I'm using Mandriva 2007.1 Spring & I'm wondering if there's a way for me to save a wmv-file from a mms-adress. I've tryed to save it throught Mozilla, but it only saves the homepage and not the wmv-file that I've choosen.

Already tried to AddType both video/wmv-x-stream and data/octet-stream.
But still failed.
Got any other idea?

Try installing VLC. Play the stream by using the menu item "Open Network". There you'll find an option to save the stream as a file.
