windows XP client on a domain make my linux server un-acessable
hi all,
I have an 2003 domain environment with Active directry,DNS and DHCP.
My client gets its dynamic IP from DHCP server.
we are using squid proxy server for internet sharing among all users.
The IP of the my proxy server is static and not included in DHCP server.
But If I manually give the IP address of the proxy server to one of my client machine(XP),instead of ip-conflict, my linux system goes out of network and windows machine capture that IP.
This things happens to all my linux servers(static ip).
My Linux servers are not intregated to 2003 domain.
can someone sort it out..
Regards
ms
