Where is "ldd" for ubuntu 9.10 - need to install it?

I need ldd for ubuntu 9.10 and sudo apt-get install ia32-libs results in "No packages found". Where/how do I install this package?

Thanks,
MJ

Note: This is for an Ubuntu 9.10 Server running @ 32 bits, no gui.

Have you enabled the "universe" repository?

EDIT: Oops, I see you're running 32-bit. That package is only available for the 64-bit install of Ubuntu.

Also, here are the results of a package search for "ldd".

This is a new package name in Ubuntu 9.10 :

' libc-bin '

.. providing files, which used to be in package libc6.

i386 http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/i3...c-bin/filelist
"amd64" http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/am...c-bin/filelist
.....

To find files / packages :
Please use the two Search functions in Synaptic.
May be ldd would be possible to find too ?
.....

@ pljvaldez : Sorry, writing, while you were posting.

libc-bin is already installed. The reason I'm looking for this is b/c i'm trying to set up a CS 1.6 gameserver on this box, and from what i'm told here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...uction-773639/ I need this package. Maybe you guys could have some better solutions for what he's telling me, its not all really clear to me...
