grub legacy would be /boot/grub/menu.lst

grub2 would be /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Thanks! Looks like I have grub legacy.

It says I only have 1 kernel:
Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-11-generic

And according to uname thats about 7 months old:
Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-11-generic

How can I get the latest kernel?

TIA
