Smile what is different squid proxy and transperent proxy


this is saravanan from kdl ,what is different squid proxy and transperent proxy ?can any one tell me?

squid is a proxy, a transparent proxy is a way of using a variety of proxy software, including squid.

Basically transparent means that you don't configure any settings on the browser and the traffic is naturally redirected into the proxy by the network configurations.
