What does the echo "1" to the issue_lip file do?
Hi All,

Please clarify me the below query ...

I heard about to detect the newly added Lun into linux, we have to follow the below mentioned commands

echo "1" > /sys/class/fc_host/host_id #/issue_lib.

I need to know
"What does the echo "1" to the issue_lip file do?"

Using Redhat 4 and 2.6 kernel version.
