Question Webmail client not reading email files

I recently moved my mail server (the previous machine had reached it's physical limits), and I took advantage of the oppertunity to change out some software to make all my systems more uniform. I'm using Maildir format for the mail system.

old system:
Red Hat FC3 / Qmail / courier-IMAP

New system
SuSE linux 10.3 / Postfix / Dovecot

here's the problem: I have several clients who like to leave e-mail on the server. They use Uebimiau's webmail interface to manage e-mail. New E-mails work fine, the come in and are sent to the correct mailbox. However when I put the e-mails from the old server into the Maildir folder UebiMiau freezes up.

Downloading with pop3 still works and it will download files from both the new and old server.

Any suggestions? Alternative webmail clients?
