web server


when i run '/etc/init.d/httpd restart' command on my system . i get this error
httpd: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for server.example.com
httpd:couldnot reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name,usinf 127.0.0.1 for ServerName

This is usually caused by the server's hostname in /etc/hosts not matching the Apache configuration. Edit /etc/hosts with your proper hostname, and make sure it is the same as any "servername" directives in the Apache configuration file.
