web access of remote server

Hi,
I have access to a remote machine through ssh. The machine is running Linux (CRUX) and has a valid name(foo.bar.abc.se) and ip address. I have root privilages for it. Apache is running on the machine. In htdocs, index.php is also present.
How can I access it and other php pages(in htdocs) from web browser? Do I need some other permissions ?
I am new to this field. So kindly explain in simple words.

Regards,
Atiq

well essentially if apache is running and, as you suggest, that service is recahable from a public IP, then there's really nothing left to cover. what does happen when you try to use it? can you curl the domain name from a command line? can you curl it from th box itself either by the external ip or the loopback ip, 127.0.0.1?

set your web pages to 644, make sure that .php is run through php and your iptables does not block the apache port. and i think you are done.
