Question we have a problem in our linux server/memory/swap

Hi friends
plz help us fast
plz see:

http://i15.tinypic.com/53639l2.png

This picture show memory used and reminder and etc... in our VBulltein forum server.
in whm , free memory is about 75%
but this graph and top d 5 command in shell , show free memory maximum 50MB !
Beforehand this, we had 2GB ram and we had this problem ; But we now have 4GB ram and we have that problem again!
It's wonderfull for us that swap not use at all ! and our server is not fast !
NOW:
1-Has linux special options for use or not use swap?
How we active that?
2-What's our problem, Do you think?

with best regards...
Farhadd

that looks fine to me. most of it's cached and no swapping. why would you want to buy memory and not have your computer use it?

to labor the point, this is not a problem.

swap not being used is a good thing. it indicates you have enough physical memory for the tasks at hand.

linux manages memory differently than windows, search lQ, there has to be at least a thousand posts from people in a panic about their memory being "all used up"

I will add that there is more or less 1GB being used by "apps". This implies a system that is being used hard. If it's slow, then you might consider a machine with a faster CPU and bus.
